Whether you are looking for new challenges in your career, are recently qualified, a preregistration trainee, or an undergraduate or graduate student, the BPC-PJ Careers Forum has something to offer. You will also have the opportunity to make contact with leading organisations from the UK pharmacy sector, as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

The BPC-PJ Careers Forum offers the following facilities:
  • Pre-arranged interviews with potential employers. Candidates should send their CVs in advance to Chris Hanney ( \n This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) who will arrange for distribution and confirm interview times. Initial interviews will be for 15-minutes and longer, second interviews will then be arranged as required by the participating companies. Your personal details will be treated with the strictest confidence – your CV will only be shown to organisations with your clear prior consent.
  • Visiting company seminars. Seminar booths seating up to 20 people will be set up where companies will profile themselves and discuss the range of career opportunities on offer.
  • Careers advice surgeries. Those seeking careers advice will be able to pick the brains of leading HR professionals from our sponsoring companies in specially designed jointly-held question and answer sessions.
  • Online job-hunting. Computer terminals will be available for delegates to explore job opportunities offered by participating companies in greater depth and access the vacancies on the www.bpc2008.org website.
  • Networking areas. There will be dedicated areas in which to sit down and discuss opportunities informally with employers over a cup of coffee.

A special Careers Forum reception will be held early on the Monday lunchtime after the careers advice surgery that day.
