Goals and learning objectives

This module describes the main features of chronic plaque psoriasis and its treatment. It focuses mainly on first-line therapy for mild-to-moderate disease and summarises ways in which pharmacists can help patients with psoriasis.

After completing this module you will be able to recognise the clinical features of psoriasis, identify the recommended treatments for mild, moderate and severe psoriasis, and understand how MURs can be used to improve the effectiveness of prescribed treatments for the condition.
