Join us at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society for the BPSA's Science Into Practice conference on 17th March 2018.
BPSA's Science Into Practice is one of the highlights of the calendar. Science into Practice is your opportunity to learn about how pharmacists in a range of careers use their extensive training in many areas of practice.
This year the Chief Scientist of the RPS, Gino Martini, is delivering the keynote speech and will cover his extensive career in the Pharmaceutical Industry and why he thinks the MPharm is one of the most valuable qualifications for an exciting and innovative career.
The conference will have pharmacists from industry, hospital, research and other exciting career paths to give you an insight into roles which maximise our training.
Whether you’re interested in a career in industry, research, hospital or community, science is an important part of our training - broaden your horizons and learn about some of the amazing careers available to pharmacists.
“Science into Practice was the event that introduced me to the possibility of a career in industry and inspired me to explore this further, I am now an industrial pharmacist and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for what I learned at Science into Practice”
Stephen Messham, GSK Future Leaders Programme
“We are the experts in medicines. In order to explain how medicines work, and what the benefits of them are, we need to understand the science behind them. Science into Practice perfectly complements what we learn at university and opens our eyes to the cutting edge developments. My advice would be to grab a ticket while you can!”
Annie Sellers, Specialist paediatric pharmacist at Royal Manchester Childrens’ Hospital and Learning development pharmacist at CPPE
