What is included in my ticket?
You can decide what you want from your ticket. If you have somewhere to stay you can choose a different package and save money. If you require accommodation you should choose Package 1 which includes absolutely everything for the whole week. Have a look at our Registration section, it should tell you all you need to know. Click here for more details about each package.
Does my ticket include travel cost?
No.
It is up to you to arrange your travel to Annual Conference. We would advise you to book tickets in advance and to use a railcard/coach card where possible to lower the cost.
What is the dress code for the week?
You can wear whatever you feel comfortable during the day's event. On BPSA Day, everyone will need to wear the Annual Conference T-shirt which will be provided when you arrive. We have fancy dress themes for every night, which we will inform you about at a later stage. You will also need formal clothes for the Awards night and the BPSA Ball!
Where is Swansea and how to get there?
Swansea is a city located in south west Wales . It is about 3.5 hours drive from London and there are various public transport links that get here too! The railway station is in the city centre.
What will we do during the week?
The week is packed full with events! Debating, hearing from professionals, learning something new, team-working, networking, making new friends, having fun, to name but a few. Have a look at our Event page to get all the details.
Will there be tea and coffee breaks during the day?
Yes! We all need tea and coffee to keep us going. We have numerous coffee shops and vending machines available around the campus and city to serve each and everyone’s needs.
What about Revision?
We understand that Annual Conference dates fall within the revision period. We all know how important revision is, but having a break is really important too! The week will be jam-packed with learning opportunities, where you will discover so much more about pharmacy than you could in a week of revision. Make Annual Conference your week off, so you can jump back into your studies re-energised, inspired and ready to do more!
Do I have to book my own accommodation to stay during the week?
Package 1 includes accommodation and breakfast everyday for the entire week! If you have your own accommodation during the week, you might want to opt for a different package instead.
How do I register for the Annual Conference?
Please visit the “Registration” section and follow the instructions.
Can I attend the event if I’m not a BPSA member?
Please contact us before purchasing your ticket as it will be dealt with on a case by case basis. However, you are more than welcome to attend the BPSA day! Have a look at the BPSA Day section to get more information.
Can I get a certificate of attendance?
Yes.
Can I get a refund if I cannot make it to the conference anymore after purchase?
No. All tickets are non-refundable.
