Competitions Sub-committee

Role description - Competition Officer 

Applications are currently open for Competitions Officers who will work under the guidance and supervision of the BPSA Competitions Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of all BPSA competitions. This role will give officers the opportunity to engage in this area in a hands-on way. Which will help develop a well-rounded understanding of how the BPSA operates and what it has to offer to its members.

What does the role entail?

  • Working closely with the Competitions Coordinator in the planning of competitions

  • Creating promotional material for the competitions

  • Helping with the running of competitions on a large scale (e.g. within their School of Pharmacy)

  • Promoting competitions organised by the BPSA

  • Creating competition briefs, sending competitions materials to the candidates

  • Organising competitions including screening candidates’ eligibility

Engagement Sub-committee

The engagement of the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association with its members is seeming ever more apparent, especially in the current climate. The role of the Engagement Officer is very new and still being developed and YOU could be involved in helping shape this for the future. The Engagement Officer is looking for applicants who would be interested in working alongside them and others to assist in every aspect of engaging the Association’s members.





Do you have any experience in designing promotional material? Do you have any experience with writing captions for Social Media or managing a Social Media Account? Do you think you could help engage the Association’s members to increase the benefit they may gain from the Association? Would you be interested in creating newsletters and other means of informing members of what’s on in the BPSA? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then joining the Engagement sub-committee could be for you!

Graduate Sub-committee

The Graduate Sub-committee is a small team that will support the Graduate Officer with their various roles and responsibilities. Some responsibilities of the Graduate Sub-committee may include managing social media accounts, working on the graduate newsletter, and helping to organise webinars and other graduate member events.

Members of the Graduate Sub-committee will also be required to represent the BPSA, as well as support, advocate for, and engage our graduate members. If you enjoy being creative, working as part of a team and have a passion for pharmacy then this sub-committee is for you! Apply via the application form below!

EPSA Sub-committee

EPSA Twinnet Coordinator

Do you want to create an experience that changes the vision that others have towards the world? Do you want to make friends with pharmacy students from other European countries? Then this is the perfect role for you.

As the EPSA Twinnet Coordinator, you will be in charge of organising the Twinnet project in Great Britain. This will involve finding a TWINNET Partner, decide the number of participants, decide on the dates of the exchange, promote the project on social media, decide the TWINNET topic, set up the Logistics and finally create fundraising for the project. This is a role with a lot of responsibility, but the skills and experiences that you will get will be used throughout your life. You will be the backbone of the programme and make sure that it runs smoothly.

EPSA Advocacy Coordinator

Do you want to have an impact on our students’ experience? Want to contribute to Advocacy discussions? Develop your communication and time management skills? 

As the EPSA Advocacy Coordinator, you will be attending monthly meetings, contribute to advocacy discussions, share advocacy initiatives of the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association, contribute to the ‘Policy Newsletter’ and schedule meetings with the BPSA Executive and European Affairs department. Through doing this you will also kickstart your journey in EPSA and unlock a world of opportunity.

EPSA Media and Publications Coordinator

Do you want to promote unforgettable experiences for our students? Make lifelong friends and contacts? Develop your organisation and writing skills? Then this is the perfect role for you.

As the EPSA Media & Publications Coordinator, you will be responsible for social media promotion on BPSA platforms and arrange any EPSA public health campaigns. You will be the backbone for the success of all EPSA events.

Local Exchange Officer

Are you passionate about international pharmacy? Do you want to meet and connect with other pharmacy students around the world?
