Design a game

🎲 Scripts & Ladders is where creativity climbs the board and pharmacy meets games.

Your challenge is to create an educational game that helps a child living with a chronic condition learn how to manage their treatment - one move, card, or dice roll at a time.

The game must be fun, age-appropriate, and evidence-based. It should teach children how and why to take their medicine, how to use any equipment correctly, and the importance of adherence - all while empowering them to feel confident about their condition.

Your game should be a physical game (board/card/dice etc) - creativity is encouraged!

🩺 Your Game Must Include:

●        A clearly defined target condition (e.g. asthma, type 1 diabetes, cystic fibrosis etc).

●        Target age group (e.g. 5-7, 8-12, etc).

●        A short instruction summary for how the game is played.

●        A brief explanation on how the child is learning about their condition.

●        Key learning objectives, such as:

β—‹        Medication timing and dosing.

β—‹        Device technique (e.g. inhaler, insulin pen etc).

β—‹        Understanding symptoms vs emergencies.

β—‹        What the medicine does / how it helps them to feel better.

β—‹        Importance of adherence.

Submission guidelines:

●        Include a PDF document with references for the relevant info - Vancouver referencing style.

●        Please attach everything in ONE PDF file excluding the reference document which should be separate.

●        If there is a team submission please CC in all entrants into the submission.
