Graduate Officer - Ayoub Ghattas
As the dedicated officer for pre-registration trainee pharmacists the Graduate Officer acts as a central contact point for trainees and to organise events for trainees.
Hi, I’m Ayoub- an MPharm graduate from Swansea University, about to begin my multi-sector foundation training in the Swansea area. It is an honour to have been elected as the Graduate Officer for this mandate.
Attending my first BPSA Annual Conference opened my eyes to the passion, community, and impact that define the Association. That experience inspired me to get involved and contribute to the organisation that supports pharmacy students and trainees across Great Britain.
During my term, I aim to organise national and regional training events, collaborate with education providers, promote graduate membership to final-year MPharm students, and ensure graduate voices are represented in key conversations with stakeholders such as the GPhC. I also plan to introduce additional support around the newly integrated independent prescribing component of foundation training.
I'm excited to work alongside the incredible executive team to ensure every graduate member feels heard, supported, and empowered on their journey from student to pharmacist.
