IPSF Officer - Ruth Lyaga

The BPSA IPSF Officer acts as the official Contact Person to the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation

Hello everyone! I’m Ruth, a third-year MPharm student at UEA. I’m excited and honoured to be your IPSF Officer for 2026/27.

The 85th BPSA Annual Conference really showed me the impact student ideas can have and being in such an empowering environment inspired me to get more involved during my time as a student.

My main aim this mandate is to increase awareness of international opportunities and mobilise students to participate in global health collaboration. I’m passionate about public health and enjoy connecting with students across borders in ways that help broaden perspectives beyond our own institutions and communities.

I’m looking forward to a great year with BPSA!
