Annual Conference Organisers - Bhavneeta Khodiyar and Ewura-Adjoa Yamoah
The Annual Conference Organisers are responsible for hosting the flagship event of the BPSA - Annual Conference. Their role involves booking venues and accommodation, organising day events and social evenings, and promoting the conference to BPSA members.
Hey! I'm Bhavneeta, a fourth-year pharmacy student at the University of Nottingham, and I am proud to have been elected as one of your Annual Conference Organisers for the 84th Mandate!
I fell in love with the BPSA at my first Annual Conference (AC), and knew I wanted to host it one day. Three ACs later, here we are! The keynote speakers, workshops, policy and my fellow attendees inspired me to engage further with the world of pharmacy. I realised that even students and trainees have the power to make change, and have seen many grow into well-rounded individuals.
My aim is to inspire more people to take charge of their journey into pharmacy and recognise their potential, just as the BPSA did for me. I am thrilled to work with the team to continue advocating for pharmacy students and trainees, and to upskill them in preparation for their careers.
I can't wait to bring the 84th BPSA Annual Conference to Nottingham alongside Ewura-Adjoa and share the joys that the BPSA has to offer.
Hey everyone,
My name is Ewura-Adjoa, a Pharmacy student at the University of Nottingham and I’m truly honoured to have been elected as one of the Annual Conference Organisers for the 2025/26 mandate!
Attending the most recent Annual Conference left me inspired and gave me a renewed appreciation for my future in pharmacy. To have the opportunity to co-organise the next one is an incredible privilege and one I do not take lightly. I’ve always had a passion for seeking new experiences, so being able to help bring the BPSA's 84th Annual Conference to every pharmacy student and trainee across Great Britain is truly special.
I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the Executive Team to represent pharmacy students and trainees across the UK as we continue to strive for meaningful change in the pharmacy profession.
