Policy Officer - Maheer Khan

The Policy Officer actively works towards actioning approved Association policies and ensures that the Association is working within these policies.

Hello future pharmacists! My name is Maheer Khan, a UAE-born Pakistani pharmacist, OSPAP student from Aston University, and pharmacist trainee. Having studied across multiple countries and completed four degrees, I have experienced pharmacy through diverse perspectives.

Joining the BPSA during Annual Conference in Nottingham sparked a passion for student representation, and I'm honoured to serve as Policy Officer for the 85th Mandate.

My goal is to transform my peers' innovative ideas and thought-provoking motions into meaningful, actionable policy, drawing on the experience and perspective I bring to the table.

Together, I hope to build a stronger, more inclusive profession where student perspectives shape the future of pharmacy.
