Northern Area Coordinator - Fatima Zafar

The Northern Area Coordinator is responsible for organising area events and coordinating the BPSA Representatives across the Northern Area.

Hi everyone!

I’m Fatima, a third-year pharmacy student at the University of Sunderland, and I’m honoured to be serving as the BPSA's Northern Area Coordinator for the 2026/27 mandate.

As Northern Area Coordinator, my main aim is to highlight the different paths within pharmacy and help students become more aware of the opportunities available to them through the BPSA.

I’m also looking forward to working closely with local societies and Area Representatives to increase engagement and encourage collaboration between universities.

I can’t wait to get started and see what we can build this year.
